H Prasad Verma, born on September 2, 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Additional District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary Director, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Secretary in the Social Justice and Empowerment Department from May 1, 1998, to September 30, 2000. Verma’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience across multiple roles within the Uttar Pradesh government.
