H P Mukhopadhyay, born on May 1, 1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he served in the Human Resources Department. His most recent designation was Joint Secretary, a position he held from July 1, 1990, to April 1, 1992. Prior to this, he also served as Joint Secretary and Executive Officer.
