H K Prasad, born on January 18, 1933, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Bihar cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in Economics, a Postgraduate degree in Economics, and a Certificate in Labour Welfare. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Under Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, District Collector and Magistrate, Managing Director, and Director. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Environment, Forests and Wildlife Department from June 1, 1990, to January 1, 1991.
