H J Desai, born on March 4, 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.Sc., L.L.B., and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. Currently, he serves as the Additional Secretary at Gandhinagar in the Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar Department since December 26, 2022. Previously, he held the position of Deputy Commissioner. Desai is proficient in Gujarati and continues to serve in the IAS.
