H. Basavarajendra, born on 26 June 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2012 batch, Karnataka cadre. Currently serving as the Commissioner of the Public Libraries Department, Karnataka since 1 July 2025, he has held multiple key positions throughout his career, including Secretary, Commissioner Director, Director, Commissioner, and Chairman. With extensive experience in administrative roles within the Karnataka government, Basavarajendra continues to contribute to public service in his current capacity.
