Gyanendra D Tripathi, born on 15 July 1971, is an IAS officer of the 1998 batch from the Assam Meghalaya cadre. He holds a B.E. and M.Tech. Currently, he serves as Additional Secretary in the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, New Delhi, a position he assumed on 1 April 2026. Throughout his career, he has held multiple roles as Principal Secretary and CEO. Mr. Tripathi is proficient in Assamese, Bengali, English, and Hindi. He remains in service, contributing to the administrative framework within his cadre and department.
