Gurdial Singh Sandhu, born on September 11, 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Rajasthan cadre. He holds an M.Com. in Business Management and a B.A. Honors in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chairman & Managing Director, Commissioner, Managing Director, Special Secretary, Executive Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Additional Collector (Development), Secretary to Governor, Magistrate (City), and S.D.O. His most recent position was Chairman at Rajasthan from November 3, 2014, to September 30, 2015. He was also associated with the National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention
