Special Secretary, Department of Planning and Programme Implementation
Gurdev Singh, born on December 27, 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 batch, Punjab cadre. During his career, he served in the Department of Planning and Programme Implementation, holding the position of Special Secretary from February 4, 2016, to June 23, 2019. Prior to this, he was appointed as Joint Development Commissioner. His tenure in the IAS reflects his commitment to public administration within the Punjab cadre.
