Gunjan Krishna, born on 14 September 1974, is a 2004 batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. She holds a B.A. and LL.B. from Delhi University. Currently, she serves as Commissioner at Bengaluru since 16 February 2019 and works in the Industrial Development and Director of Industries and Commerce department. Her past roles include Managing Director Equivalent, Managing Director, Principal Consultant Deputy Secretary Equivalent, Chief Executive Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector. She is the author of "From Bondage to Freedom-An Analysis of International Legal Regime on Human Trafficking." She is proficient in English and Hindi.
