Dr. Govind Sharma, born on 12 February 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Rajasthan cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree in Medicine. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Secretary, Finance, Managing Director, Inspector General, Special Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Additional Collector, and Sub Collector. His most recent position was Principal Secretary at Jaipur, Rajasthan, starting from 29 February 2012, within the Department of Finance. Dr. Sharma’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience across multiple roles in the state government.
