Govind Narayan Akhauri, born on 17 June 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1995 Bihar cadre. During his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary and Secretary Director. He held the position of Commissioner from 10 February 2011 to 30 June 2012. His most recent departmental role was with the Land Revenue Department as the Director of Census Operations.
