Gouranga Gopal Sarkar, born on November 25, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2000 batch, West Bengal cadre. He served in the Home Department, holding the position of Additional Secretary from January 1, 2014. Prior to this, he was appointed as Joint Secretary. Throughout his career, Sarkar contributed to the administrative functions of his cadre until his retirement.
