Gopal Ramamurthi, born on November 12, 1948, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1972 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in History and a postgraduate degree in Public Administration. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Director, Commissioner, Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Under Secretary, CEO, Additional Collector, and Assistant Collector. His most recent designation was Additional Chief Secretary in the General Administration Department of Maharashtra.
