Gopal Prasad Singhal, born on March 5, 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Director, Commissioner, Secretary, Additional Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and OSD to Minister. His most recent position was Principal Secretary at Madhya Pradesh from December 22, 2008, to March 31, 2012, within the Department of Finance. Mr. Singhal’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles across the state government.
