Gopal Chand, born on 14 March 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2011 batch, belonging to the Himachal Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.A. in History from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Currently, he serves as the Director in the Urban Development Department at H.P.-Shimla since 24 April 2023. His previous roles include Deputy Commissioner and Settlement Officer. Gopal Chand continues to contribute to the administrative framework of Himachal Pradesh in his ongoing service.
