Gita Mishra, a 1997 batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, served in various capacities including District Collector, Additional Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Controller, and Sanchalak. She was the Mission Coordinator for the National Rural Health Mission in Madhya Pradesh from December 4, 2012, to February 28, 2013. Born on March 1, 1953, she holds a graduate degree. Gita Mishra has retired from the Indian Administrative Service after a distinguished career in public administration.
