Girja Shanker Joshi, born on 24 June 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 batch of the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities, including Junior Scale officer, District Magistrate, and Commissioner & Director. His most recent position was Commissioner Director of the Sugarcane Industry Department from 14 November 2007 to 30 June 2009. Throughout his career, Joshi contributed to administrative functions within the Uttarakhand cadre before retiring from service.
