Giriwar Dayal Singh, born on October 3, 1979, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 Bihar cadre. He is currently serving as the Commissioner at Tirhut Division (Muzaffarpur), Bihar, a position he has held since December 30, 2025. Mr. Singh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Additional Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner and CEO, Sub-Divisional Officer, Secretary, and Sugarcane Commissioner. He is proficient in English and Hindi. He continues to serve in the IAS.
