Girish Dayalan, born on November 4, 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 Punjab cadre. He holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Public Administration from Punjab University. Currently, he serves as the Registrar at Punjab's Co-operative Society department since January 20, 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Director, ADC, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Director General, Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Special Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Principal Secretary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Additional Commissioner. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Girish Dayalan continues to serve in the IAS.
