Girijesh Kumar Tyagi, born on February 4, 1972, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2014 batch, serving in the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. Currently, he is the Secretary at Prayagraj in the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), a position he has held since April 10, 2026. Previously, he served as Special Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Tyagi continues to contribute to the administrative framework of the state in his ongoing service.
