Gholap Ramesh Gorakh, born on April 30, 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2012 batch, Jharkhand cadre. He holds a B.A. in History from Y C M Open University, Nashik. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner at Jharkhand's Civil Defence Department since February 11, 2026. His previous roles include Special Secretary and Deputy Commissioner. Proficient in English, Marathi, and Hindi, Gholap continues to contribute to the administration in his cadre.
