Ghanshyam Prasad Daftuar, born on 17 October 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 batch of the Bihar cadre. During his career, he served in the Mines and Geology Department. His most recent position was Director at Patna, Bihar, from 3 December 2013 to 31 October 2014. He has also held the post of Additional Secretary.
