He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities, including Mission Director and Additional Secretary. Currently, he is the Mission Director at Bihar Mahadalit Vikash Mission, a position he has held since December 12, 2023. Paswan continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration and development initiatives within Bihar.
