Gautam Chatterjee, born on January 20, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Maharashtra cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director General, Principal Secretary, Vice President & CEO, Chief Vigilance Officer, Joint Secretary, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Joint Managing Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in Maharashtra. Mr. Chatterjee’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles across state departments.
