Gaurav Kumar, born on November 10, 1992, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2018 batch, serving in the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from PEC Chandigarh. His past roles include Assistant Collector and Magistrate. He served as the Municipal Commissioner of Lucknow from August 13, 2019, to April 21, 2025. Gaurav has been honored with the Director's Gold Medal in ICT and the Kala Devi Award. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
