Gaurav Kumar, born on January 17, 1991, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2022 batch, serving in the Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science from Delhi University and an M.A. in Geography. Currently, he is the DDC-cum-CEO at Gopalganj, Bihar, in the Zila Parishad department, a position he has held since January 12, 2026. Prior to this role, he served as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM). Gaurav Kumar continues to serve in the IAS with a focus on administrative responsibilities within Bihar.
