Gaurav Gupta, born on 27 July 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1990 batch from the Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Kanpur and an M.Tech. from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary at Bengaluru in the Energy Department since 24 May 2023. Throughout his career, he has held numerous positions, including Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, Regional Commissioner, Chairman, Special Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Director, Deputy Secretary, and Assistant Commissioner. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
