Gangaram Krishna Lokare, born on June 1, 1957, is a retired IAS officer from the 1981 Karnataka cadre. A graduate in Economics, he served in various capacities including Assistant Commissioner, Special Deputy Commissioner, Joint Registrar, Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Development Commissioner, Chief Secretary, Joint Secretary, Director, Additional Secretary Director, Secretary, and Secretary Director. He was the Divisional Commissioner at Gulbarga, Karnataka from October 31, 2000, to October 12, 2004. His most recent role was Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department. Throughout his career, he contributed extensively to the administrative framework of Karnataka.
