Gagandeep Singh Bedi, born on September 9, 1968, is a 1993 batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a B.E. degree and is proficient in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Tamil. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare department at Chennai since May 15, 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner, Director, District Collector, Additional Collector, Sub Collector, and Assistant Collector. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
