G Sreenivas Rao, born on September 12, 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds graduate degrees in Political Science and Law, along with a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Collector, Deputy Secretary, General Manager, Project Director, Assistant Secretary, Secretary, and Deputy Director. His most recent designation was Deputy Secretary from December 1, 1991, to September 1, 1993. He also worked in the Land Revenue Department as Director of Census Operations.
