G S Sandhu, born on May 1, 1936, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Punjab cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in History and is a graduate in Punjabi. Throughout his career, Sandhu served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner, and Deputy Commissioner from July 1, 1992, to April 1, 1994. His most recent role was Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department. Sandhu’s extensive service reflects his long-standing commitment to administrative roles within Punjab.
