Joint Secretary, Agriculture and Cooperation Department
G S Brar, born on April 18, 1937, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Punjab cadre. He held various positions including Junior Scale, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Assistant Commissioner, Project Officer, Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, and Joint Secretary. His most recent role was Joint Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department from July 1, 1990, to April 1, 1995. He holds a postgraduate degree in Geography, a graduate degree in English, and a certificate in Chinese. Throughout his career, Brar served in multiple administrative capacities within the Punjab cadre.
