G P Joshi, born on April 1, 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1978 Gujarat cadre. He served as Principal Secretary in the Department of Finance, Gujarat, from April to December 2008. His educational qualifications include a PG Diploma in Financial Management, postgraduate degrees in Physics and Management. Throughout his career, Joshi held various positions such as Director, Municipal Commissioner, Managing Director, Senior Directing Staff, Principal Secretary to the Governor, and Deputy Commissioner, among others. His extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Gujarat state government.
