Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner & Secretary, Commissioner & Director, Secretary, Chairman & Managing Director, Director, Additional Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Development Commissioner, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Joint Collector. His most recent position was Commissioner in the Education Department from March 23, 2008, to June 30, 2008.
