G L Bhagat, born on 12 October 1943, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1974 Gujarat cadre. A graduate in English, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, District Development Officer, Deputy Commissioner, Director, District Collector, Commissioner, Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Chairman, and Managing Director. His most recent role was Member Secretary at the Ecology Department, Gujarat, from 29 April 2003 to 31 October 2003. Throughout his career, Bhagat contributed to multiple administrative and developmental functions within the Gujarat government.
