G Kumar Naik, born on 12 September 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Karnataka cadre. Holding a B.E. in Civil Engineering, he served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary at the Karnataka Energy Development Agency from 31 March 2021. Throughout his career, he held numerous positions such as Principal Secretary to Government, Managing Director, Commissioner, Secretary, Executive Director, State Project Director, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Joint Director, and Assistant Commissioner. His extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Karnataka state government.
