Over his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary to Government, Managing Director, Commissioner, Secretary, Executive Director, State Project Director, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Joint Director, and Assistant Commissioner. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary at the Karnataka Energy Development Agency, starting from 31 March 2021. Mr. Naik's extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Karnataka government.
