Special Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department
G K Shukla, born on April 1, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, and ultimately as Special Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from April 1, 1992, to March 31, 1996. His tenure in the IAS reflects extensive experience in administrative roles within the Uttar Pradesh government.
