Managing Director, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution
G K Sangameswar, born on April 5, 1936, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch of the Karnataka cadre. He has held various positions including Director, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and multiple tenures as Managing Director. His most recent role was Managing Director in the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution from December 1, 1992, to April 1, 1994. He holds a Diploma in Cooperation, a Graduate degree in Chemistry, and a postgraduate qualification in Geology. Throughout his career, he has served in diverse administrative capacities within the government.
