G Govinda Rao, born on May 9, 1930, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Special Deputy Collector, Project Officer, Personal Assistant, Joint Collector, and Administrator. His most recent position was Deputy Secretary in the Local Self Government Department from November 1, 1986, to May 1, 1988.
