G Elias, born on 16 October 1956, is a retired IAS officer from the 1982 Kerala cadre. A graduate Naval Architect, he has held numerous key positions including Managing Director, Principal Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Special Commissioner, Principal Adviser, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Labour Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary, Private Secretary, District Collector, General Manager, Commissioner, Sub Collector, Assistant Collector, and Chief Executive Officer. His most recent designation was Additional Chief Secretary at Kerala from 6 June 2013. He was associated with Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) during his service.
