G D Vyas, born on September 1, 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Gujarat cadre. A graduate in Mathematics, he has held various key positions including Secretary at Gujarat from May 2003 to August 2004. Throughout his career, he served in roles such as Chairman, Director, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, and District Divisional Officer. He was associated with the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) during his service. His extensive administrative experience spans multiple departments and responsibilities within the Indian government.
