G C Tripathy, born on 20 February 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1968 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Assistant Collector, Managing Director, CEO, SDO, Director, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, and Principal Secretary. His most recent designation was Administrative Member Additional at Maharashtra in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
