Ekroop Caur, born on 11 January 1975, is a 2001 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Karnataka cadre. She holds an M.A. and M.P.A. from the National University of Singapore and a Ph.D. from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Currently, she serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, New Delhi, since 14 September 2025. Her past roles include Secretary to Government, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Director, Deputy Secretary, Sub Collector, and Assistant Commissioner. She has received multiple awards, including the Volvo Sustainability Award and SKOCH Smart City Awards. She is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
