E. Saravanavelraj, born on 26 December 1966, is a 2007 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds an M.Sc. degree and has served in various capacities including Commissioner, Managing Director, Director, Joint Secretary, and District Collector. Currently, he is the Managing Director at the Tamil Nadu Housing Board, Chennai, a position he has held since 2 December 2022. Throughout his career, Saravanavelraj has been actively engaged in administrative roles within the Tamil Nadu government. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
