Dr. E Ramesh Kumar, born on April 20, 1971, is a 1999 batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree and postgraduate qualifications in Public Policy and Management, including Corporate Finance from IIM Bangalore. Currently, he serves as Principal Secretary in the SC Welfare Department, Bhopal, since November 12, 2024. His extensive career includes roles such as OSD-Cum-Commissioner, Commissioner, Chairman, Joint Secretary, PS to Minister, Vice Chairman & MD, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, SDO, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
