Currently, she is the Joint Commissioner (Admin) at the Commercial Taxes Department in Chennai, a position she assumed on July 25, 2024. Her previous roles include District Collector and Managing Director. Durgamoorthi continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the governance and administration of Tamil Nadu.
