Durga Shanker Mishra, born on December 4, 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He served as the Chief Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh at Lucknow from January 1 to June 30, 2024. His educational qualifications include a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, a PG Diploma in Human Resource Management from Delhi University, and an MBA in International Business from Western Sydney University. Throughout his career, he held various positions such as Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Chief Vigilance Officer, and District Collector. He received multiple awards, including the Certificate of Excellence and Best Probationer Award.
