Currently, he serves as Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Gujarat since 22 December 2025. His past roles include Secretary to the Chief Minister, Resident Commissioner to Government of Gujarat, Director, and multiple tenures as District Collector and District Development Officer. Dr. Pandey has received several awards, including the National Award for e-Governance 2017-18, Kalam Innovation in Governance Award, and the Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Public Administration. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
