Dr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, a 1986 batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre, has served in multiple key administrative roles including Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Chairman, Secretary, Commissioner, Adviser, Chief Editor, Executive Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, and Private Secretary. He retired as Director General at the Gujarat Institute of Disaster Management, Gandhinagar. Dr. Gupta holds postgraduate degrees in Law from The University of Melbourne and Political Science, along with a Certificate in Environmental Laws from the United Nations University. He has received several awards, including the CMO Asia 50 Most Influential Rural Marketing Professional and the CSR Lifetime Achievement Award. He is proficient in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
