Dodda Venkata Swamy, born on 31 March 1976, is a 2001 batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics from Mysore University, an M.A. in Political Science from Karnataka University, and an M.P.A. in Public Administration from Harvard University. Currently, he serves as Chairman at Kochi under the Department of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) since August 2022. His past roles include Development Commissioner, Vice Chancellor, Revenue Divisional Commissioner, Mission Director, Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, among others. He received the Kalam Innovation in Governance Award from Biju Patnaik University of Technology.
